Synektik becomes an exclusive distributor of Qure.ai’s global artificial intelligence solution to assess imaging tests

Synektik, which is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has signed an agreement to become an exclusive distributor of Qure.ai, a global supplier of artificial intelligence solutions to detect irregularities and assess x-rays, computed tomography and mammography tests in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The artificial intelligence technology developed by Qure.ai holds class IIB CE certification for imaging radiology pursuant to the European Union’s Medical Devices Regulation (EU-MDR). It is the most frequently implemented software employing artificial intelligence to describe the results of x-ray, computed tomography and mammography tests in the world. Starting now, this technology will also be implemented in medical centers in the area where Synektik has been developing its business effectively for years.

Qure.ai’s artificial intelligence solution will revolutionize the imaging diagnostics market in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Pursuant to the agreement concluded by and between Synektik and Mex-Healthcare, which holds the exclusive right to grant licenses to sell the Qure.ai software in given countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the first stage of the project lasting until 30 September 2024 will entail sounding out the market in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia in terms of the large scale implementation of the artificial intelligence software offered by the global player Qure.ai in medical and telemedicine centers.

“Adding the artificial intelligence solutions offered by Qure.ai, a global player to assess imaging tests to Synektik’s product portfolio is a landmark event for radiology in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Leveraging Qure.ai’s potential and experience in terms of providing solutions based on artificial intelligence to assess and classify imaging tests signifies that Synektik is engaged not only in supplying technology but also in contributing to transformative change in the quality and process of providing health care through imaging tests. Together we are making it possible for clinicists to provide a timely and precise diagnosis while elevating the standard of patient care”, emphasizes Cezary Kozanecki, founder and CEO of Synektik.

“Our collaboration with Synektik via Mex-Healthcare is a landmark event in the artificial intelligence revolution in radiology taking place in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This collaboration underscores our commitment to utilizing Qure.ai’s advanced artificial intelligence solutions to enhance the precision of diagnoses, streamline processes and ultimately raise the standard for patient care. We are elated with the transformational impact this cooperation will exert on health care and patient care”, adds Prashant Warier, CEO and co-founder of Qure.ai.

Qure.ai – the future of radiology begins now

Qure.ai is a global supplier of artificial intelligence solutions to detect irregularities in radiology testing, including for instance mammography, chest and musculoskeletal x-rays and chest and head computed tomography. Qure.ai’s software holds class IIb CE certification pursuant to the European Union’s Medical Devices Regulation (EU-MDR).

“The technology supplied by Qure.ai enhances the precision and effectiveness of the work done by radiologists in a traditional hospital and in teleradiology firms. This makes it possible to diagnose patients more quickly, thereby enabling doctors and radiologists to classify medical cases effectively, especially in emergencies, or during admissions to the emergency room. This helps health care providers identify critical scenarios within a few seconds for the purpose of avoiding death and improving the quality of patient care”, comments Cezary Kozanecki.

The Qure.ai artificial intelligence solution to analyze imaging tests has been added to the portfolio of products offered as part of the innovative Zbadani.pl platform

Signing an agreement to distribute Qure.ai’s artificial intelligence solutions to assess imaging tests not only greatly complements the array of services offered through the Zbadani.pl platform but also marks a milestone in the transformation of how the imaging tests market operates in the direction of making a significant improvement in the safety and quality of medical centers and for patients themselves.

Recently, the Synektik Group officially launched the Zbadani.pl technology platform that combines elements such as the Patient Portal – Patient Digital File where patients can safely and chronologically store the results of their medical tests, including imaging tests: their own tests, the tests of their children and other loved ones, offering access at any time and from anywhere in the world. Another function offered by the Zbadani.pl platform is the possibility of consultation regarding the saved test results as part of the platform or with any other experts around the world through a secure link to view all or some of the tests. The solutions dedicated to medical centers as part of the family of applications available on the Zbadani.pl platform include the WOW! Service – online distribution of the results of imaging tests and other medical tests through a secure link sent to patients; Syndose – an app to monitor, record and report the dosages of ionizing radiation successfully used by labs performing imaging tests and entities offering nuclear medicine or SHR – shared health records (electronic medical documentation) between medical centers facilitating the rapid interchange of information in a secure manner. This innovative technology platform on the Polish market is integrating the services dedicated to patients, physicians and medical centers thereby streamlining the process of archiving, analyzing and distributing the results of tests to patients and digitalizing their entire medical history.

„Adding Qure.ai’s artificial intelligence solution to the Zbadani.pl platform marks major progress in diagnosing imaging tests. This modern technology is making it possible for medical centers to diagnose diseases more precisely and more quickly, which can considerably enhance the quality of the healthcare services provided. By employing artificial intelligence medical centers will be able to detect pathological changes in medical images with greater effectiveness, which will contribute to better patient care. Implementing the Qure.ai solution in medical practice also heralds benefits for patients. With streamlined and more precise diagnoses they will be able to commence the right treatment more quickly, which may shorten the term of convalescence and improve their state of health. Moreover, more effective diagnostics may diminish the risk of making errors when interpreting test results and give patients a feeling of greater safety and trust in medical centers. Consequently, implementing Qure.ai’s artificial intelligence solution for imaging tests offers the potential not only to revolutionize the work of medical centers but also to enhance patient experience significantly, elevating healthcare standards to a new higher level. The service of ordering a description of imaging tests using artificial intelligence will be available shortly to patients registered with the Zbadani.pl platform”, highlights Katarzyna Twarowska, Managing Director of E-Health & Innovation in Synektik who is responsible for developing the Zbadani.pl platform.

Synektik Group’s dynamic growth in new medical technologies

The conclusion of an agreement to distribute solutions based on artificial intelligence used in imaging tests marks the ongoing and unwavering execution of the growth strategy of Synektik and the overall Group.

“Launching the distribution of an artificial intelligence solution to assess imaging tests in this part of Europe where Synektik has flourished for years constitutes a significant moment in the development of our Group. From the very beginning we have focused on implementing innovative medical solutions such as the da Vinci robotic system. As we now enter the field of artificial intelligence, we are confident that it will alter how imaging tests are analyzed and interpreted while simultaneously enhancing patient safety”, remarks Cezary Kozanecki.

The most important objective of implementing artificial intelligence solutions to assess imaging tests is to enhance the quality of patient care. Artificial intelligence can assist radiologists diagnose diseases more precisely and more quickly, which may lead to better treatment outcomes.
