Record contracting year for the Synektik Group. Hospitals gear up for the next wave of investment

In the 2025 financial year (October 2025 – September 2026), the Synektik Group secured orders for the supply of medical equipment with a total value of approximately PLN 493 million, 26% more than a year earlier. In the fourth quarter alone, the value of new orders was approximately PLN 70 million. At the end of September, the Group’s backlog stood at more than PLN 43 million, and the value of active bids at approximately PLN 200 million.

“We are closing the best year in the Group’s history in terms of orders secured. After just three quarters, their value exceeded PLN 420 million and was higher than in the entire previous financial year. Lower contracting in the fourth quarter compared with the same period last year, when the value of contracts signed reached PLN 145 million, does not change this picture. It is largely the result of the funding calendar for healthcare investments. In July–September, hospitals were settling projects financed from the National Recovery Plan (KPO) with the Ministry of Health, while at the same time preparing applications for funding from other sources. This cycle is also reflected in our bid portfolio. A year ago, its value was very high, as hospitals were then running KPO-funded tenders. We converted a significant part of those bids into orders over the year, which translated into a record result. Today, we are building our portfolio for the next programmes,” says Dariusz Korecki, Vice President of the Management Board and CFO of Synektik.

“Significant spending on hospital modernisation is planned for the coming years, and we are well positioned to take part in it. Under the Medical Fund alone, this includes PLN 4.5 billion for strategic oncology projects to be completed by 2029 and more than PLN 1.1 billion in the ongoing competition for investments related to hospital consolidation. On top of that, there is a new sub-fund dedicated to infrastructure for national defence needs. Further funding comes from the National Oncology Strategy and EU programmes, including FEnIKS (European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment) and regional programmes. At the end of September, the value of our active bids was approximately PLN 200 million, which provides a solid base for securing further contracts. We expect the value of orders in the coming quarters to be significantly higher than in the quarter just ended,” comments Cezary Kozanecki, CEO of Synektik.
