As part of turnkey orders, Synektik deliver, among others: ready-made equipment for a radiological facility and operating theatre based, for example, on the delivery of medical devices for imaging diagnostics and therapy, along with the necessary adaptation works, implementation and launch of PACS/RIS IT solutions and the delivery of diagnostic stations.

  • The group has its own IT solutions for archiving, distribution, presentation and processing of radiological images and administrative data. The ArPACS product family allows for the computerization of medical entities in the field of archiving, distribution (PACS), presentation and processing of radiological images (ArView) and administrative data (RIS).  Related licenses are offered to public and private medical facilities and IT companies implementing HIS (Hospital Information System) management systems for medical facilities.

The original Zbadani.pl platform is a multi-module application with a radiological profile. It provides a fully digital and integrated test flow in diagnostic quality using HL7, CDA, DICOM standards.  It is created in the SaaS (Software as a Service) model and can be used from anywhere with Internet access via a browser. As part of the Zbadani.pl platform, the Group provide digital applications. One is SynDose (www.syndose.pl) for automatic monitoring, reporting and analysis of ionizing radiation doses.  Another on – Online Results Issuance application, enables facilities to issue radio-imaging results in the form of a secure link shared with the patient online. SynDose was created in response to changing legal regulations regarding the detailed scope of clinical audits and the newly applicable templates of their reports.

The Zbadani.pl platform also offers a unique tool – the ability to create test files for patients and their loved ones.  The patient can store all tests in one place, including radio-imaging tests.  Importantly, the patient can access his tests from anywhere in the world and consult with any specialist by sharing the test using a simple, encrypted link.

    More about IT solutions

  • Since 2004 Synektik have been providing specialist testing and accreditation services for radiological equipment, thanks to a regional network of measurement teams consisting of qualified engineers and physicists.

The scope of works includes acceptance tests for radiological devices, training activities and specialized tests (physical measurements) aimed at checking the current state of the radiological device in terms of safety and its proper functioning.

The Group uses measuring sets made by highly reputable companies and carries a valid certificate for measuring equipment calibration.

    More about the measuring services

  • The group employs a qualified group of specialists who provide servicing of diagnostic imaging devices, such as analog and digital X-ray machines, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, scintillation cameras and mammography, hot chambers and dispensers.

As part of the maintenance services, the Company offer repairs, periodic inspections, replacement of spare parts, installation and removal of equipment. In the case of some rare and niche devices for which the Company’s specialists are qualified in servicing, such services are also provided outside Poland.  The reason for this is that a small number of specialists in the world have the appropriate competences in this area.

  • The production of radiopharmaceuticals used in oncological, cardiological and neurological diagnostics is carried out at the Synektik Group production plants located in Kielce, Mszczonów, and Warsaw.  The Capital Group has ownership rights or production rights for nine radiopharmaceutical products: Glunektik, Fludeoxyglucose, Fluorocholine, Metaflu, DOPA, Axumin, FET, FLT and FES.

    More about radiopharmaceuticals

  • In April 2014, the Synektik Group launched a Research and Development Center (CBR)  in Warsaw. The activities of CBR include the development of new radiopharmaceuticals, based on existing knowledge and future applications of radiopharmaceuticals in medicine. Warsaw was chosen as the location of the project due to the wide availability of scientific staff needed to develop new radio-pharmaceuticals.

The tasks of the Research and Development Center include:

    • conducting research and development work on new radio-pharmaceuticals and prototype implementations
    • developing new technologies for the production of radio-pharmaceuticals,
    • implementation of modern technical solutions in the field of isotope production for pharmaceutical purposes,
    • initiating and preparing pilot projects, in particular those that involve conducting development work and technological and conceptual research. The aim is to search for and define the composition of radio-pharmaceuticals, dose amounts and elements that can be used to develop innovative pharmaceutical products for medicine (including oncology, neurology, cardiology), veterinary medicine, genetics and cosmetics production,
    • proprietary supervision over the implementation of research and development results
    • cooperation with renowned medical institutions around the world in improving the implementation of the radio-pharmaceuticals production,
    • cooperation with other external entities, in particular with universities, institutes conducting scientific and research work and employees of these entities.

Currently, CBR is conducting research on radiopharmaceuticals used not only in oncology, but also in cardiology and neurology. The current activities include research and development (R&D) projects that gained recognition of the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 competition (the value of the funding is EUR 3.69 million) and European Union funds.
