Synektik will offer da Vinci surgical robots also in Ukraine. Cooperation with Intuitive Surgical has been extended through 2031

Synektik, a provider of advanced solutions for medicine and the exclusive distributor of da Vinci surgical robotics systems in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, has expanded the territorial scope of its agreement with Intuitive Surgical to include additional market – Ukraine. At the same time, the Polish company’s cooperation with the global leader in surgical robotics across all markets has been extended until the end of 2031.

The extension of our cooperation through 2031, and entrusting us with responsibility for another market, testifies to the trust in the Synektik Group’s abilities as a long-term partner for Intuitive Surgical in the region,” said Cezary Kozanecki, founder and CEO of Synektik. We are consistently pursuing our growth strategy in the segment of surgical robotics, combining operational experience, servicing and training support, and close cooperation with healthcare institutions. This new stage of the agreement provides us stable foundations for further expansion and increased availability of the da Vinci technology for patients in Central and Eastern Europe.

At Intuitive Surgical’s Annual Commercial Meeting this year in Orlando, Synektik was recognized as a top distributor of da Vinci robotic surgery systems (Best Distributor Worldwide and Best Clinical Partner 2025).

Synektik has cooperated with Intuitive Surgical continuously since 2018 on the Polish market, where da Vinci robotic systems have become a major element of state-of-the-art surgery. The Synektik Group has been the exclusive distributor of these systems also in Czechia and Slovakia since 2022, and in 2024 the range of the cooperation was extended to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, another step in building a strong regional platform for distribution of advanced medical technologies.

As in the earlier markets, Synektik will serve the Ukrainian market on an exclusive basis. The scope of cooperation includes sale and supply of da Vinci robotic systems, along with full implementation and operational support, including training, development of servicing support, and regulatory and marketing issues.

According to Cezary Kozanecki, “Expansion of our cooperation to the Ukrainian market has a unique dimension for us. Under the current conditions, issues of safety remain the absolute priority, and we will grow our operations in stages and responsibly. At the same time, the decision by Intuitive Surgical to extend our agreement to Ukraine confirms the confidence in the long-term potential of that market. We believe that when war ends, modernization of hospitals will accelerate, the demand for modern, minimally invasive surgery will be even bigger there, and our experience building an ecosystem for medical robotics will effectively contribute to rebuilding of the healthcare system.

Surgical procedures using da Vinci robotic systems represent a qualitative breakthrough in the treatment of many diseases, particularly in the fields of urology, oncology, and general surgery, enabling greater precision, less invasiveness, and faster convalescence for patients. In recent years, tens of thousands of patients in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and the Baltic States have benefited from this technology, and the Synektik Group is consistently reinforcing its position as a leading supplier of medical robotics solutions in the region.

At the end of 2025 the Synektik Group had 83 da Vinci devices under its care in Poland, and a total of 121 across the region.

Synektik’s cooperation with Intuitive Surgical generates revenue for the Polish company in connection with the supply and startup of da Vinci systems at medical facilities, as well as subsequent servicing of the devices. The supply of consumable instruments and accessories for these devices provides an additional recurring source of revenue.
